Another Year is Closing!
The year is coming quickly to a close and the Christmas Season is in full swing. We have had an exiting year as a church and as a charge. We have split off from the Rushylvania UMC to reduce our three-point charge to a two-point charge. This has allowed our Pastor to spend more time at our in fellowship at both churches and a non-rushed service. The Kids for Christ Youth group has had a great year too, with the growth doubling to over 35 kids! Because of this growth in the youth group and a dramatic increase in church attendance we are looking at adding on to the church in the next year. The building committee has been working very hard to make it a reality. We got the outside of the church painted in a one day painting spree. We have had many illnesses in the community and they have seen our church respond with the love of Jesus to help out with what ever was needed. With the grace and favor that the Lord has shown our church, next year will be an awesome year.
